A vinyl liner pool uses a custom made sheet of vinyl between the water and the pool structure. This structure is panels made of galvanized steel or composite. SwimKing offers both materials but favors composite for its flexible strength and, above all, the option of using a salt water filtration systems that is not really viable with steel walls.
These walls are supported from behind so that they won't bow out against the weight of the water. Wall panels are secured together to make up the perimeter shape of the swimming pool. A vinyl lined pool may be your most affordable option for installation, and replacement liners are available in more colors and patterns than ever. SwimKing uses 27 mil vinyl, the thickest residential liners available.
